As an 8th-grade science teacher, my goal is to bring real-world relevance and hands-on engagement into every lesson. My students are naturally curious, but true understanding happens when they can experiment, test ideas, and see science in action.
Access to quality materials through CIBL would allow me to transform abstract concepts into meaningful learning experiences that align with North Carolina’s science standards. With the right tools—like lab kits, models, and inquiry-based materials—students can explore topics like ecosystems, forces, and energy through investigation rather than memorization.
